Fall Creek Sporting Clays hosted the first of their three Fall Creek Series events on Saturday, May 23 at the Indiana Gun Club in Fishers, IN. More than 60 shooters took a run at the fair but challenging course that Mike Perryman set for them. Station 4 proved to be the undoing for many with a tough right to left rabbit at about 40 yards followed by a quick, left to right chandelle a few yards further out. There were some 1 and 2 scores posted there.
Kyle Norman earned HOA honors with a score of 79 in the 100-bird Main event, finishing just ahead of Ronald Lee, who carded a 78. Bryan Wright turned in the top score in the Super Sporting event, breaking 83 of the 100 birds, followed by Tom Hendrix with a 79. Eighteen shooters earned punches at the event.
Fall Creek’s next event is the Indiana State Championship scheduled for July 23 through July 26 at the Indiana Gun Club. You can register for this event here on the ISCA website Shoot Calendar. You can also register here.
